The role
This role handles high-value commercial real estate transactions across primary asset classes, representing institutional investors, developers, borrowers, and financial institutions.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate purchase and sale contracts, conveyance documents, and commercial leases.
- Structure debt financing transactions, loan agreements, and mezzanine debt structures.
- Prepare real estate joint venture agreements and equity capital structures.
- Lead due diligence, including title, survey, zoning, and environmental evaluations.
Required
- 3 to 5 years of commercial real estate transactional experience at a peer law firm.
- Proven experience in real estate debt finance, acquisitions, dispositions, and development.
- High attention to detail, strong drafting ability, and excellent academic credentials.
- California legal license required, or eligibility to obtain admission.
Compensation
Compensation is in a broad six-figure range, plus performance bonuses, commensurate with experience.
