A prominent mid-sized West Coast business law firm is hiring a corporate associate for a partnership-track role.

The role
The associate will handle a diverse array of corporate transactional and counseling matters across technology, life sciences, and traditional commercial sectors.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing middle-market M&A transactions, asset purchases, and stock buyouts.
- Represent high-growth technology companies through seed, venture capital, and growth financing rounds.
- Help draft private placement offerings, venture fund documentation, and corporate governance filings.
- Review and draft commercial contracts, licensing agreements, and corporate operational documentation.
Required
- 2 to 5 years of solid corporate transactional, M&A, and securities experience.
- Demonstrated exposure to venture capital, corporate counseling, or private placement work.
- Excellent academic record from an accredited law school.
- Active California legal license, or prompt eligibility.
Compensation
Compensation is in a broad six-figure range, plus performance bonuses, commensurate with experience.
